Littering kills

Littering Kills from Valen DINO

I just wanted to share this presentation made by a Singaporean student about littering.
In one of the slides, he mentions that it takes a new generation to stop littering. That got me thinking.
We so often believe that we'll never have a clean country because people will not stop littering - they've done it for years! But if you think about, if we can convince the current generation to stop littering by spreading awareness and by teaching it in schools, we can start a new trend of keeping the place clean! That sentence gave me hope and made it sound possible to have a clean environment someday, if we start now!

The Ugly Indian

How can we live in such filth? Why do we care about our homes and not the street ?
Is it because that is someone else’s job?

The Ugly Indian asks questions we all must answer.

The other day, as I was travelling, I noticed garbage lying about so many places. I guess there was an issue due to which garage was not being collected. But the streets looked so ugly and poor. As if the people around had not the energy to even get the trash to a bin.

Do visit The Ugly Indian and see how you can contribute to a better, cleaner India.
